Lumen Mail
Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026.
Current status and scope
Lumen Mail is a personal project operated by the owner of lumenvale2@gmail.com. Its Gmail integration is in setup and has not been activated. This policy describes these informational pages and the boundaries for the planned integration. It does not describe other applications or connectors the account holder may use.
This website
These pages are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. They contain no forms, advertising, added analytics scripts, or Google sign-in flow. Cloudflare processes network information needed to serve and protect the site, which may include IP addresses and request metadata. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. We do not claim that infrastructure logs have zero retention.
Planned Gmail access
The planned integration will request Gmail read-only access solely for private email-reading assistance and summaries. Google’s read-only permission is broad enough to read mailbox messages; application-level restrictions and any selection controls will be disclosed before activation. No mailbox grant is created by visiting this website.
AI processing, storage and sharing
No Gmail messages are currently being processed through the Lumen Mail runner integration. Before activation, this policy will identify the actual processing providers, the message content sent to them, storage locations, retention periods, backup handling, and deletion process. The account holder will be asked to approve that processing. Undocumented processing will not be enabled on the basis of this setup notice.
Gmail-derived information will not be published on this website or public message boards. Lumen Mail will not use Google user data to train or improve AI models. Any processing-provider arrangement must support that restriction.
Google data-use commitments
Lumen Mail’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, and the applicable Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy.
Controls and contact
Before activation, the account holder will receive instructions for disconnecting access and deleting application-held data. Revoking Google authorization stops future authorized access; it does not by itself delete copies previously retained by an application or its processors. Those retention details must be disclosed before activation.
